Call announcement very loud on AirPods

I have recently updated to IOS 16.2 on my IPhone 11. Since this time when Siri announces my calls it is VERY LOUD. I have looked up options on how to reduce this volume like changing the tone volume within the AirPod settings this did nothing. My ringer is already very low so that doesn't do any good. Telling Siri to speak quieter only makes my media volume lower and it is already nearly as low as it gets. I have sensitive hearing and this is extremely frustrating. How can I get my call announcement ONLY volume to be lower?????

Hello rissalene,

Let's use the steps below to make sure your iPhone 11 is updated to the latest version of iOS:

1. Back up your device using iCloud or your computer.

2. Plug your device into power and connect to the internet with Wi-Fi.

3. Go to Settings > General, then tap Software Update.

4. If you see more than one software update option available, choose the one that you want to install.

5. Tap Install Now. If you see Download and Install instead, tap it to download the update, enter your passcode, then tap Install Now. If you don't know your passcode, learn what to do.
