Apple TV 4K doesn’t play 5.1 audio with eArc turned on.

I have an LG OLED C2 tv connected to a Samsung Q90r soundbar and Apple TV 4K doesn’t play 5.1 audio with eArc turned on. Is there a fix for this? Was working fine until recently….Apple TV is plugged into hdmi on the tv.

It should be connected to the soundbar (HDMI in). The soundbar’s solo HDMI out to TV.
