Apple 4K tv 2022 no sound

I bought the new Apple TV 4K 2022 and I am having issues with no sound when playing videos through the apps - I have tried the switching to Stereo trick I saw online but didn’t work - anybody have any advice?

is it a HDMI cable thing? I am running the box on a Samsung Q90R with a Sonos soundbar.

In order to use the Auto setting for Apple TV audio it requires the Sonos be connected to an eARC port. Otherwise, it will not be able to work. The alternative is going into Apple TV settings to force it into standard DD 5.1 (or buying an adapter like the HDFury Arcana to bypass the TV and connect Sonos to that eARC port)
