How to burn dvd

and following babowa's reply, I use the free app called Burn for my disc burning chores. it works great for my needs. but if you need to use something in a professional setting, you may want to look into Roxio Toast 20.

And, if you want to play video on a stand alone player, you will need software (app) that will encode it properly such as Roxio Toast. If you don't need that, You can use Disk Utility and/or Finder.
