Air drop doesn't on iPhone since 16.3 update

For example, if Personal Hotspot is enabled on any of the devices being used try disabling it temporarily.

Also check for any VPNs, security software, and profiles that may be installed on the devices. If any are installed, try temporarily uninstalling them to rule out conflicts. Also ensure the date, time and time zone are set accurately on each device as that can affect connections as well.

Eric, it is all well and fine to say try this, try that try, the other, the problem is in the Upgrade not individual iphones or Ipads. I have asked several people I know if they have a problem most of them said "Yes the ones who said no all bar 1 said they hadn't upgraded since the last upgrade" the 1 who said no also said he didn't know as he doesn't use air drop. I decided to see if I got the problem after upgrading my Ipad so I upgraded the Ipad and bingo same problem "No people found", this was not a problem until yesterday after I upgraded, the ONLY thing that has changed is the software version on my ipad the iphoone was already on 16.3.1. Before the upgrade my Iphone & Ipad were happy to play in the same sand pit, My sisters Iphone & Ipad were happy to play in the same sand pit as my devices now all I get is "No people found", my sisters phone & pad are on a different account to mine, I could see both her devices and air drop to them on my Ipad and Iphone, now, since the upgrade nothing

After experimenting I have discovered that if you set your phone to Everyone for 10 minutes air drop works if it is set to contacts only Air drop wont work
