AirDrop not working between iPhone 15 Pro and 10th Gen iPad on iOS 18.1.1

they are both on iOS 18.1.1.. I can select on my iPhone airdrop iPad but nothing happens.

Hello, do go through this process it might help you out:

  • Check AirDrop settings: Make sure AirDrop is turned on for both devices. You can check this by going to Settings > Screen Time > Content & Privacy Restrictions > Allowed Apps. If AirDrop is set to Contacts Only, you'll need to change it to Everyone. 
  • Check your devices: Make sure both devices are unlocked, up to date, and have Wi-Fi and Bluetooth turned on. 
  • Restart your devices: Restarting your devices after making changes to your settings can help. 
  • Move your devices closer together: Try bringing your devices closer together. 
  • Reset network settings: Resetting your network settings can help.
