Thanks for posting in the Apple Support Communities. We're happy to look into this with you. It sounds as though you're looking at a folder in Files app under your iCloud Drive. Is that right? We'd like to ask a few questions to help us research possible solutions.
- When you update the file name on one of your devices, do you show the update synced to the other devices?
- What software versions do you have installed on your devices? On your iPhone this is found in Settings > General > About and on your Mac, select the Apple Logo in the upper right corner and select About this Mac.
- Have you tried restarting both devices? Although it's a simple action, it can correct many issues that appear on a variety of devices.
