iPhone 14 Pro - Purchase from UAE

Hi there,

I am travelling back to India from UAE, and I have bought an iPhone 14 pro middle east version. I am a bit eager to know whether the phone works fine in India.? Will facetime work with an Indian SIM card for the ME Version? Please advice.

Support for Facetime of UAE iPhones in India Hey everyone I'm planning to buy an iPhone 14 Pro from Dubai, UAE which will be activated and used in India. This is due to the obvious huge price difference. However, I've heard that iPhones purchased in UAE do not have Facetime. Some others have reported that if you activate your iPhone outside UAE then the Facetime will work on the same device. So, if you have had a similar experience, kindly share the feedback on Facetime availability for your device. Any feedback is highly appreciated. Thanks in advance

The international FaceTime restriction was removed in iOS 13.6; you just need to change the country in Settings. Note that you'll likely be denied warranty service on it outside the United Arab Emirates.

If you buy a carrier unlock iPhone, you’re free to go with the carrier of your choice.
