Finder not showing thumbnail previews when searching network drives

If I do a search on my Synology network drive, the Finder does not show any image previews, only the default icon. Is there a way to fix this?

Preview not working with Synology NAS I have a Synology DS420+ NAS and use Finder to see its contents. When I try to access some .JPEG images that are being stored on it, Preview says: "The file “IMG_5326.JPG” and "It may be damaged or use a file format that Preview doesn’t recognize." Now, the file is definitely not damaged, as I can access it via the web browser. Some images, which are also .jpegs, are opening, but half or more of the image is in a block of color (see attached screenshot). The images opened just fine with qView, so this leads me to believe that Preview is the problem. This problem is happening only to jpg images and not other formats. Does anyone know how I can fix this?

Finder doesn't show image thumbnails from a USB Finder doesn't show image thumbnails from a USB, only as generic .jpg files, but it shows image thumbnails from the internal disk. Tried all 4 ports with the same result. Also relaunched Finder, to no avail. I can only see the images in the preview. The USB is Kingston 32GB USB-C, formatted MS-DOS (FAT32)

Finder not loading image thumbails for new files (MacOS Monterey 12.6.3) I found this same issue mentioned a while ago, with no answers. I have noticed recently that for new image files, Finder is not creating thumbnail images; just the generic icon. I tested restarting finder, relocating the plist file, restarting it, no impact. The version of Finder is Finder version 12.5. Has anyone else been encountering this bug?
