Finder not loading image thumbails for new files (MacOS Monterey 12.6.3)

I found this same issue mentioned a while ago, with no answers.

I have noticed recently that for new image files, Finder is not creating thumbnail images; just the generic icon. I tested restarting finder, relocating the plist file, restarting it, no impact. The version of Finder is Finder version 12.5.

Has anyone else been encountering this bug?

Have recently updated MacBook Pro to Monterey 12.6.3.

So created a new Photo Booth image to check.

In the "Pictures" folder, Finder 12.5 displays the exported image as a thumbnail.

You may want to send Feedback on your experience to Apple, to reach those behind the scenes. They will likely not reply, yet if others are encountering the same issue, changes may be made for a future update.
