I'm trying to record video in Final Cut Pro. The playback from my built-in camera is black, and when I click "import" it runs for 5 seconds and then I see the below message:
Import was aborted due to lack of incoming data from device. Check your connections and that the deck is playing.

To be absolutely clear: this is the camera built-in to your mac, right?
Does the camera work in other applications, like Facetime, Zoom, etc.?
What happens if you try to record using Quicktime Player: File->New Movie Recording. Does it record normally or show the same problem?
