Can't add/delete account recovery contact

Hi everyone.

I have this issue where when it became available I added one contact as my recovery contact. But lately I went to Settings > My name > Password & security > Account recovery and that contact that I added doesn't show up. I tried to add the contact again and I get an error saying that it's now possible to add the recovery contact, that an error occurred while adding the recovery contact and to try again later. I tried to repeat this process multiple times on different occasions and the error message is always the same... But if I go to https://appleid.apple.com/account/manage it says that I have a recovery contact:

So now if I want to turn on Advanced Data Protection I can't because it will give an error saying that an error occurred while showing your recovery contacts and to try again later.

Anyone had this issue before?
