Recently when i started deleting an email that is part of a thread, apple mail shuts down. but it doesn't happen for all email threads. When it happens, It just shuts down and says there is an error. and when I reopen apple mail, all the emails in the thread are still there - so nothing deletes. It's pretty annoying. Have already shut down mail and reopened. Thoughts?

Seems very strange—
The current stable release of Ventura including bug fixes, security updates is macOS Ventura 13.2 — I would start there.

It is very strange, but it just started happening to me as well. I was out of town for a month. Today is the first day I turned on my pc and mail is shutting down on me as well. I do have one update. Will see if it fixes it.
