Emergency bypass not working

Hi all, I’ve been having some issues with the emergency bypass for years. I’ve tried to reset my settings, contacted Apple support. No success, they just don’t care I guess since they didn’t fix this after years and many complains. I use this since I am a firefighter and can’t trust it anymore, it will work when it feels like, when my screen is On it will work but not with the screen off. I’m about to get rid of all my Apple stuff because of that. iPhone 14 pro with latest software version 16.3.
