MAC cannot play Spectrum Cable TV

I can never get Spectrum Cable TV to show video on my MAC, despite trying everything everyone said in all the other complaints about this. Apple support never answers this issue either. I guess they don't want anyone watching Spectrum TV on a MAC. Amazing. Works on all other non-MAC laptops and systems. MacBook Pro cannot handle it for some reason.

streaming video from Mac air to LG tv For 2 years now I have been streaming video from my Mac Air to my LG TV without problems. Suddenly, I can no longer do this. Although I receive the HBO or Apple+ programs on my Mac Air (A1 fine), when I plug the laptop into my LG TV (USB C connection on the Mac, HDMI connection on the TV) I cannot get a stable picture: it comes and goes, the sound echos and it is generally unwatchable. Why can't watch MLB live games on Apple TV even though my software is up to date? I am subscribed to Apple TV+ and have no problem watching content - except for live Major League Baseball games (I can watch all the other MLB-related shows.) Inside the Apple TV+ on my Mac running the latest Monterey OS (12.7, or 12.6.9), after I click the Watch Now button, I see this screen: Friday night baseball, only on Apple TV+ Update your software so you can watch it all - live games daily coverage in more. Button: Update Now When I click Update Now, I am taken to System Preferences, Software Update, which says, "Your Mac is up to date - macOS Monterey 12.7" iMac (Late 2015) I have no problems watching MLB live games on my MacBook Pro (2018) or iPad 9th Generation (2022). Strange that MLB is the only problem I have with watching Apple TV+ content on this older Mac. And that certainly is a B.S. non-error message, and crappy user experience.

Hi, you’d need a video input device.. Elgato makes some that work with Mac ( and PC)
