How to hide other family members devices

How do I hide all the devices from find my for my family members?

I see my dads iPhone, watch, MacBook, iMac, iPad and all these other things. Same w my momā€¦

between them 2, I have over 10 devices of theirs that I donā€™t care to know their whereabouts. I just want to see their location and thatā€™s it.

anyway to share our ā€œpeopleā€ location but not the ā€œdevicesā€ of family members?

I really donā€™t need to know my dadā€™s iMac is in their house on the desk, or his iPad lol.

iPad, iPadOS 16

Greetings Razorseal,

To see only people in the Find My app, you'll want to be sure to select the "People" tab, instead of the "Devices" tab. You can learn more here:

Find people and share your location with Find My - Apple Support

"Locate a friend

  1. Open the Find My app and select the People tab.
  2. Under People, choose the name of your friend who is sharing their location with you.
  3. Choose Directions to open Maps and then follow the directions to arrive at your friend's location.
  4. Locate a friend in Find My on iPhone

If your location appears below your friend's name, you aren't following them. If you see No location found, that person can't be located."

Take care.
