Simplest settings to track sleep
Why are all the sleep settings so complicated now? Is there an option for simple sleep settings to just track sleep like a FitBit did 10 years ago? I just need the watch to function as: “Probably sleeping, gonna track it and this is what it looks like”
instead there’s the sleep focus requirements the watch requirements, app settings and it’s unclear what is causing data to not be tracked - some nuanced multi-dependency setting or a bug that needs to be fixed.
Yes I’ve read through the manuals and settings and dependent settings between the watch/phone/apps, and troubleshooting is still a nightmare. I bought the Apple Watch Ultra for the extra battery life, specifically so sleep tracking would be more seamless, but now all the layered settings are absurd and I’ve missed half the data a 10 year old Fitbit would’ve captured effortlessly.
