MacBook Air shows no IP address

MacBook Air on OS Monterey will no longer connect to network. Shows ‘no IP address.

Self assigned IP address and no network Hi everyone! last night I updated my macbook to the most recent software update, and since doing that my WIFI will not connect to my mac, every time I go into Network it appears with "no IP address" of "self assigned IP address". I spent the entire night researching and trying all of the suggestions but nothing seems to be working. I have been deleted the folders under system preferences, I have turned the router off and back off, added a new location and renewed the DCHP lease. i'm guessing that there is something to do with the software update because I have never had the issue before. Does anyone know how to fix this please??

I have a MacBook Pro (2015) that cannot connect to the internet after upgrading to Monterey version 12.6.7. It self-assigned itself an IP Address. It connects to the WiFi, but is blocked going any further. The laptop will not connect to the internet on any Wifi or hotspot. I removed Mcafee without any luck.

Show a screenshot from System Preferences-Network with the network service you use (probably Wifi) selected.
