Hi There,
I have an iPhone 14 and when I search in Messages for a word or phrase, it will show my a list of conversations where the word/phrase has been use. When I click on one of those conversations it takes me to the most recent message instead of the specific message containing the word/phrase.
Is there solution to this?

To help resolve this issue let's toggle your Siri & Search settings off, restart the iPhone and turn the settings back on. This should help the search feature recognize the search results in the Messages app.
