Hello Nabilemakari,

Welcome to Apple Support Communities. On which ear is the ear cup with the Digital Crown? That may help to make sure that you don't have your AirPods Max on backwards.

You can also check your Automatic Head Detection and Noise Control using the following guidance from Change audio settings for AirPods Max - Apple Support to make sure those settings aren't a factor.

"Customize the noise control button

You can press the noise control button on the right headphone of AirPods Max to switch between Active Noise Cancellation and Transparency mode.

  1. Wear your AirPods, and make sure they’re connected to your device.
  2. Do one of the following:
    • On iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch: Go to Settings, then tap the name of your AirPods near the top of the screen. Select the modes you want to access with the noise control button. When you’re listening to audio with your device, and you press the noise control button on AirPods Max, it cycles through all the options you selected on your device.
    • On Mac: Choose Apple menu  > System Settings, then click the name of your AirPods Max in the sidebar (you may need to scroll down). On the right, select an option next to “Press button to cycle between.” When you’re listening to audio with your Mac, and you press the noise control button on AirPods Max, it cycles through all the options you selected on your Mac.

Turn off Automatic Head Detection

Your AirPods Max automatically stop playing audio when you take them off, and resume playback when you put them back on. You can change this setting.

  1. Wear your AirPods, and make sure they’re connected to your device.
  2. Do one of the following:
    • On iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch: Go to Settings, tap the name of your AirPods near the top of the screen, then turn Automatic Head Detection on or off.
    • On Mac: Choose Apple menu  > System Settings, click the name of your AirPods in the sidebar (you may need to scroll down), then turn “Automatic head detection” on or off."

All the best.
