I have my own iCloud account and a number of iCloud calendars shared with me (view only and edit access). I can't find an option to disable notifications for changes made to these calendars. I receive all invites for calendars that I have edit access to and a notification for every change or event added to shared calendars. With 4 family member calendars shared it's a meaningless stream of endless notifications.

I have ignore alerts selected already. As far as I can tell that blocks notifications that events are beginning and travel time. There doesn’t seem to be an option on the desktop app to match the “Show Changes” option on iOS which means the calendar app notification tray is mad! I think it’s pervasive to iCloud as I downloaded fantastical and get the same issue with a constant stream of change notifications.

Thanks - that works on the iOS app but I can't find the same option on the macOS app anywhere - any ideas?
on the calendar app, in the top left, click on the calendar icon, then right click (or 2 finger click) the calendar you want to silence, the click get info and select ignore alerts, then OK.
Hi, in the calendar app, down the bottom click on Calenders, then click the (i) next to the calendar you wish to turn notifications off for, after that under notifications turn off the “Event Alerts” tab.
