Turn off calendar change notifications on calendar website

I use icloud.com to access my calendar, not the calendar app.

Everytime I open my calendar I get the pop-ups shown in the photo, about 20-40 of them, with calendar changes, some from over two months ago. How to I turn these off? I have turned notifications off on the calendar app and on my phone, but I cannot seem to find anywhere to turn these off on the icloud.com/calendar/ website.

I have the same problem. Whenever any shared icloud calendar entry is changed by my wife from her iphone I get an alert for every single change when I next log on via the browser and have to click on the 'x' to close every single one or it just stays there. They do disappear once I click on the 'x' though. Thanks in advance.

Hello ISUInsect,

Thank you for reaching out in Apple Support Communities. We recommend to review the settings for the calendar events on the website for iCloud. This may explain as to why you're noticing the alerts or notifications. When you visit the iCloud.com website and sign in with your Apple ID, you'll want to select Calendar > tap on the gear icon in the bottom left corner of your screen > Preferences. From here, you can tap on General and review the settings for Alerts. You'll want to make sure it's unselected next to "Add a default alert to new events & invitations." Then select the "Advanced" tab and review the settings within that section for the calendar.

Please let us know if that helps.

Kind regards.

Hello ISUInsect,

Since this is a notice of a change made and not of an upcoming event, the normal notification settings will not affect it. Are these changes that you made to your calendar from another device or account? Are they repeated announcements or a one time thing that you acknowledge and they don't return?

This might help us narrow down the options to eliminate them.

Regards.
