can't find Google Wallet on iOS app

can't find google wallet on iOS app store in spite of 3rd parties such as cnet saying it should be available. Apple Wallet is far too limited and inflexible for my needs.

Google Wallet is not available on iOS.

Google Pay is available through the App Store.

I'm not sure what particular functionality you would like but is missing, but as stated if you need Google Wallet, you will need to switch to an Android device; I'm not sure why Google Pay is unavailable in the UK, you'd need to ask Google about that.

If you'd like to request that Apple Wallet provide the lacking functionality, you can leave comments (which are read and used to make future development decisions) at the links below:

I don't want to go back to android, though it does many things better, as iPhone is much more integrated with my hearing aids, which is more important to me.  The fact that I can't get Google Pay on iOS is an iOS limitation, rather than Google's. Rather like MFST's SwiftKey, which is great with Android, but loses about 40%  of its functionality/customization on iOS.

As for Apple Wallet, a search resulted in being advised that it now additionally accepts loyalty cards. However, on my week old iPhone 14 iOS 16.2, set up & registered for use in the UK, the wallet only gives an option for Travel Cards that, when opened, shows fixed lists of such cards as available in China, Hong-Kong & North America - no use at all to me - and does not provide a search facility for any other card type, such as loyalty cards.

Finally, I may be missing something, but the forum doesn't seem to provide for uploading screenshots/files etc. Perhaps you could advise. TIA

You can upload screenshots by clicking on the second icon from the right in the editing bar at the bottom of the text entry box when you are creating a post. It looks like a couple of mountains with a sun.
