Wallet defaulting to Google

Hi! On selecting ‘Add to Apple Wallet’ for tickets such as train tickets, my phone seems to be defaulting to Google wallet (which I don’t remember loading and can’t find in my apps) and the page becomes blank. How do I change settings to ensure that I can add tickets to my Apple Wallet?
