years old text messages keep reappearing

Hi,

we have a certain user using iphone that has the following issue:

Old messages keep reappearing at around 3 am every day on the iphone.

This messes up current messages view and makes the messages app unusable.

This has been happening over multiple devices in the past years.

Many resets have been performed.

Any tips on where to look for a fix?

General search has not helped us yet.

Hey maersk229,

We see you mentioned going through multiple resets and it happens with multiple devices. After resetting the device, is it set up as new or restored from a backup. If restored from backup, it may be corrupt or a setting causing the issue on multiple devices.

If the devices have been set up as new and it continues to happen, contact Apple Support here: Get Support. They should be able to further assist.
