Trying to remove MacBook laptop icon on desktop
Hello, I just change my MacBook's name and suddenly there's a MacBook icon with "user's MacBook" name on my desktop and i don't know how to remove it. How to remove the icon?
Which macOS?
I suspect there’s a bug here in Ventura (when a computer changes its name), but don’t have Ventura handy to check this.
In Monterey and earlier, Finder has Preferences that control some of what is shown on the desktop.
