Slide-over window only half visible when locked to portrait mode but using a full screen landscape app

I updated to iPadOS 16.2 on my iPad Pro 11" 4th Gen and now have an issue where the slide over window orientates itself to portrait mode when my screen orientation is locked to portrait but I'm using an app that forces landscape mode. The problem is that it orientates itself based on the iPad, not the slide over window. This makes the slide over app completely unusable as the window only displays half of the screen. Does anyone have this issue as well?

Hello Hontaro,

Does that occur when you are using all apps in landscape orientation or only that one app? Please let us know so we can narrow this down further.

In addition, just to rule out unexpected behaviors, please try taking the following steps which may help with this: restart your iPad, make sure it is up to date, close the affected app, then reopen it and make sure all apps are updated.

Since it occurs with all apps, and it only started after the update, and previous troubleshooting hasn't solved it, please contact Apple Support to investigate this further with you.

Hi,

this happens with all apps in landscape mode. I have restarted my iPad multiple times but it did not help. The issue also only appeared after I updated to 16.2, it did not occur on 16.0
