Apple ID is wrong in App Store.

I saw a thread from a year ago about this issue where you’re signed into your Apple ID correctly on your iPad. But when it comes to updating apps in the App Store, it asks for the pw for a different Apple ID; of which I do not have the pw. The fix suggestion someone gave was to sign out of the App Store then sign back in. I did this but the problem still persists. Has there been any recent fixes found for this issue?

Delete and redownload the applications you're trying to update. The other Apple ID is stored inside them.
