lost garageband songs

I am a musician and work mostly with GarageBand on iPad Pro. Today I opened my garageband on iPad and noticed that most of my song files have gone. There is only evidence of 18 in the "recents" column. There were at least about two hundred altogether. They are even gone from my iCloud Drive. They have not been deleted and have simply disappeared. The strangest thing about the ones left in "recents" is that the earliest one dates back to 2020 and yet I had done most of my work SINCE 2020. Please help

1. Restart your iPad to see if the issue persists: Restart your iPad - Apple Support

2. Update your iPad to rule out the older software: Update your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support

3. Check other folders in iCloud Drive to be sure the song files weren't placed somewhere unexpected.
