Recovering lost GarageBand files

Hello. I have recorded many songs on GarageBand over the past year and a half, and there have been multiple times where I have deleted the application either on purpose to save space or on accident. All files that I had created on GarageBand prior to me deleting the app have been lost. Is there any way I can recover them? Some of them are very important to me.

lost garageband songs I am a musician and work mostly with GarageBand on iPad Pro. Today I opened my garageband on iPad and noticed that most of my song files have gone. There is only evidence of 18 in the "recents" column. There were at least about two hundred altogether. They are even gone from my iCloud Drive. They have not been deleted and have simply disappeared. The strangest thing about the ones left in "recents" is that the earliest one dates back to 2020 and yet I had done most of my work SINCE 2020. Please help

GarageBand app offloaded and files lost My GarageBand app was auto-offloaded by my phone. This has happened a couple of times in the past, so I wasn't terribly worried, but when I re-downloaded it, it said that there were only five files in my "GarageBand for iOS" folder. I know for a fact I had significantly more work than that saved. I have it set to upload my files to iCloud, and in the past they've shown up there, but when I logged into iCloud on my computer to restore them, it similarly said that there were only five GarageBand files and that there was nothing for me to restore anywhere. I've tried just about everything I could find about this topic, and I can't find any solution. I didn't do anything to it, I just re-downloaded the app after my phone independently offloaded it. Isn't the data supposed to be stored when that happens, and either way, shouldn't the fact that I know it was previously stored in iCloud at least mean that it would show up in recently deleted files? Is there any way to recover the files that seem to have been automatically deleted, or have they just completely vanished? Is this a bug that others have seen happen?

Find lowest quality Apple Music files I imported? I just found a hard drive back-up with better quality audio files than ones I imported into Apple Music awhile ago (CD quality, 320 kbps vs. 192). Other than going through every song in my Apple Music Library one by one, is there any way to search or find the 192kbps files? If not, any less time-consuming way to find them in the "Music" folder where the non-Apple Music songs are kept? Thanks.

I unfortunately have been in a similar situation where I lost files that were important to me due to my computer dying after water damage. I don't know if there is any way I could get them back since I have tried for months with no luck. The only way I know of that is possible to get lost files back is if you had saved them to your iCloud. If you’re on an iPhone or iPad all you have to do once in the app is to go in my songs, browse, and then Garageband for iOS. If you’re on a computer you would need to go on finder, iCloud drive, and then Garageband for macOS. I hope this helps and best of luck to you!
