iOS 16.2 battery widget

I’m having an issue with the battery widget when I’m using only one AirPod, it shows the other one and the case is at 0%. But if I open the case or take out the other airpod, the percentages come back. Is there a fix for this?

AirPod Pro 2 Battery Display Issue (Battery Widget) Recently my AirPod Pro 2 have stopped displaying the battery percentage in the widget app on my iPhone and iPad Pro. I currently have an iPad Pro 5th generation and an iPhone 11 Pro Max. I have updated both devices to the latest software update (currently 16.5.1). After updating I disconnected my AirPod Pro from both devices and waited a few minutes before reconnecting. I even removed the battery widget and re-added it. The battery percentage still is not displaying in the battery widget. Occasionally it will show the percentage for the AirPods, but it stopped completely showing the percentage for the charging case. See images below for examples. I do understand that if I open the case of the AirPods, I will be able to see a pop up showing the battery percentages. However, for the money I paid for all my Apple devices I should be able to see the battery percentages of both my case and AirPods within my widget.

When one Airpod is used and the case is closed, the battery widget shows depleted battery (red) icon When one Airpod is used and the case is closed, the battery widget (list) has started showing icons for an almost empty battery (for case and inserted Airpod) after about 1 minute. I believe the earlier behavior was to hide the case and Airpod percentages when the case was closed. When the case is opened, the correct percentages are shown. When both Airpods are in the closed case, the percentages are hidden as expected. Problem only occurs when one Airpod is being used and case is closed. Anyone else?

iOS 17 update - trouble with battery widget After the iOS 17 install, my battery widget I had had will not show my AirPods Pro Gen 2 case charge level. It only displays its charge level when I open the case.

I'm having the same issue since the iOS 16. I don't know what to do either. It is happening every time.
