I tried all of this, several times. Did not work. Would be nice if Apple would finally fix that super annoying problem.

Works for me every time. . Make sure the Watch and the Mac have Bluetooth on and connected to the exact same SSID in the Wi-Fi router. No not have any third party security apps or VPN installed in the iPhone that controls the Watch or the Mac. They are totally unnecessary and mess up so much communication.


Restore the router to factory settings.


If you've completed that troubleshooting and the issue is still not resolved, Contact Support.

I re-paired the watch.

Same Wifi Network. Checked 2,4Ghz and 5Ghz.

VPN Software is disabled. I will not deinstall it. I have a other view on that topic.

Router was reseted a few days ago. I will not do that again. It's pretty much effort for a bug which will occur again.


This problem is at least two years old and still no reliable fix.
