Stuck at ‘restore in progress’

I have been to setup a new iPad from a backup in iCloud and for 12 hour it is still saying that restore is in progress, ‘an estimated 100mB will be downloaded to finish your apps and data.’ All the apps have already been transferred. How do I end the process or make it complete quickly?

Hello cyprian80,

You don't want to disrupt or end the restore of an iCloud backup. You'll want to stay connected to a known good working Wi-Fi network to complete the process. You may need to connect it to power, to stay charged up.

After the restore process is complete, all of your data and related apps should be restored successfully.

Wishing you well, take care.
