Swipe up to recover (Broken screen)

I updated my iPhone using iTunes but now it is displaying 'Swipe up to recover' on my screen. However touch does not work so I cannot imput my password to reset my phone.

When I try to punch in my passcode, the keys go wild - the keys become extremely and too sensitive to the touch. What this means is if you want to punch in one symbol it will punch in many symbols. This same thing happens is if you want to use 'Forget Passcode' and desire to erase the data on your phone. After trying to punch in my password, I tried to select the symbols I don't want and erase all but the ones I don't need. This doesn't work either.

Immediate 18.1.1 update issue I just updated my iPhone (15pro) to 18.1.1 and immediately after i swipped up on the hello screen, i was faced with the screen describing the new stolen device protection features. i pressed not now and my screen has been frozen for the past 20 minutes. i am able to turn my phone off and on but every time i swipe up i get stuck on that screen. when i try to shut down my phone, I'm unable to click the new "shut down" button. how can i fix this?

Upon researching your question, we were able to find the steps to take If the screen isn't working on your iPhone or iPad. Keep in mind that the last step listed would be to contact Apple Support.
