Am I the only person who turns on silent mode and then forgets to turn it off ?
Is there a reason why Apple would not introduce an icon alerting you that the
phone is in silent mode? Apple does this with the Do Not Disturb function.

Thanks. I tried using do not disturb but find the switch easier. Also, I have an annoying issue with do not disturb in that it seems to automatically dim the screen and it remains dimmed even after I have turned off do not disturb.
The switch does not mute so many things you don't want to go off in church. Focus can be much more selective and can easily be set to turn off after the current calendar appointment ends or when leaving a location

I recommend taping over the mute switch like I did and use the much expanded Focus system to mute notifications.
The switch does not mute so many things you don't want to go off in church.
I haven't noticed that -what sort of things?
