I cannot send or receive e-mails in my 365 for Mac account

Suddenly I can no longer receive or send e-mails on my Microsoft 365 account. I think the issue is password related. I have a Macbook Air

office365 mail stopped working on all our machines Hi, Can any one advise what settings need to be changed so we can access all our emails on our Macs. Unfortunately we use BT and our emails are office 365 they stopped working last week on desktops and mobiles. The emails are all fine on the PC's just all our Macs.

cannot get or receive emails I have not been able to send or receive emails since last night. I have spent ages trying to rectify this. Told on MacBook air that blue yonder is offline. Checked IMAP and SMTP and no luck. was advised to check if user name and password were correct which they are. Virginmedia has asked me to log into their site again but it is proving difficult. Cannot get emails there either but not sure how long this has been going on as I rarely use it. I am a non technical older person but this is frustrating
