Move to iOS not working

Hello guys,

I've bought a brand new iPhone 14 and I'm trying to transfer my Android device data (especially Whatsapp) but i didn't manage to succeed. After entering the 6 digits, the two devices communicate successfully, but in the selecting what to transfer, the iPhone private network seems to disappear, and after that, it gives error when starting the process, on Android it gives transfer cancelled, and on iphone it gives transfer failed, what can I do? I've searched intensively for a solution, but without luck.

Any help would be great,

Thanks a lot.

PS: my Android is OnePlus 5T, running Android 10

Hey MumenShabaro,

We'd like to share this article that can help you with the step by step to transfer your data from an Android device to iOS device: Move from Android to iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

From that article, check out the section that says "If you need help with the transfer".

1. Make sure that you leave both devices alone until the transfer finishes. For example, on your Android device, the Move to iOS app should stay onscreen the whole time. If you use another app or get a phone call on your Android before the transfer finishes, your content won't transfer.
2. On your Android device, turn off apps or settings that might affect your Wi-Fi connection, like the Sprint Connections Optimizer or the Smart Network Switch. Then find Wi-Fi in Settings, touch and hold each known network, and forget the network. Then try the transfer again.
3. Restart both of your devices and try again.
4. On your Android device, turn off your cellular data connection. Then try the transfer again.

Let us know if this helps!

Best regards.
