Watch OS 9.2 install failed

Updating Apple Watch ultra to 9.2 says update failed. Both the watch and phone were fully charged and on chargers. Both Have two thirds or more of their storage available and both are on a good Wi-Fi network, but it still does the same thing.

Welcome to Apple Support Communities. You can use the steps in this Apple Support article to help get your Appel Watch updated: Update your Apple Watch


Update directly on your Apple Watch
If your Apple Watch has watchOS 6 or later, you can install updates without your iPhone:
1.Make sure that your watch is connected to Wi-Fi.
2.On your watch, open the Settings app.
3.Tap General > Software Update.
4.Tap Install if a software update is available, then follow the onscreen instructions.

Need more help with updating?
Try these steps:
1.Make sure that your Apple Watch is connecting properly to its charger
2.Restart your Apple Watch.
3.Restart your paired iPhone.
4.Try again to update your Apple Watch.
If the update won't start:
1.Open the Apple Watch app on your iPhone.
2.Tap General > Software Update.
3.Delete the update file.
4.Try again to update your Apple Watch.
