apple calendar showing wrong times in summary

My calendar is show events with the time wrong by one hour but when I open the event it is correct. My time zone is correct.

Hi Betty fp,


If the timezone for some of your Calendar events are wrong, see if Timezone Overide is on by following:


  1. Open Settings
  2. Calendar > Time Zone Override
    • If this feature is on, it will display events according to the time zone selected in the second option.
    • If this feature is off, it will display events according to the time zone in your current location.
      • Make sure Settings > General > Date & Time are set to Automatic.



Supplemental information: This is also a feature for the Mac as seen in Use different time zones in Calendar on Mac.
