I got my iTunes id way before an Apple ID. I no longer have access to that email account. It has been bought out by another company and discontinued. How do I change my iTunes id, with which I've purchased albums and movies, to be the same as my Apple ID? Mac Mini M1 2020, iPhone 13, iPad Pro 2021, MacBook Pro 2016

You cannot merge or combine accounts. The iTunes account is by definition also an Apple ID now.
If your iTunes account uses an email that is no longer furnctional, you should still be able to access it if you know the password for the iTunes account (not necessarily the same as the email account). You can log in to https://appleid.apple.com with the now defunct email address and whatever password you used for iTunes and then update the email address to a new functional one.
