My Apple Watch 3 recently started chiming while it is on the charger. Watch reconnects to charger and chimes about every 30 seconds. It does not seem to chime off using original Apple brand charger, but three-in-one charger for watch, phone and AirPods is sure convenient. Surely someone has an answer to this issue.
This has been a recurring issue for a while now. It seems every other update either fixes it or breaks it again. It only affects 3rd party chargers and I have not been able to find any rhyme or reason as to why.
Silence the watch before putting in on the 3rd party charger if it bothers you. Maybe the next update will fix it.

If it behaves correctly with the Apple charging puck but it chimes on the third party accessory then it is not an issue that Apple can help with.
This is the second such report I have seen this week.
See if the Watch can be seated on it sideways and put it on Nightstand/Bedside mode.
