Ever since updating my watch to iOS 11, when I put it on the charger, it dings every 30 seconds to 1 minute. The same very sound that it makes when you first put it I. The charger… Am I the only person having this problem, as I’ve looked through the forum, and it sounds like others had similar issues, but two years ago.

I’ve tried three different chargers. Same result
This is a common issue with multiple generations of the watch when using 3rd party chargers.
There is really no solution. Sometimes, an update will seem to fix the problem, but it eventually comes back.
The only surefire way to avoid it is to use a genuine Apple charger or just silence the watch before you put it on the charger. That’s not really fixing the problem, however, what’s actually happening is it’s stopping and starting charging repeatedly.
Ever since I upgraded my Apple Watch 7 to version 11.1, it now chimes every minute to five minutes while charging. It’s making the same sound it makes when I attach it to the charger - which is not a third party charger; it came with the watch. If I put the watch on silent, it stops the dinging, but it is annoying to have to remember to mute it at night and unmute it in the AM. Apple, please make this go away!
I use the 20W USB-C Adapter from Apple, which can power all our Apple Watch models up to the Ultra 2, iPads, iPhones, AirPods, etc.
I bought an apple adapter and plugged it in last night. I’m still having the chiming even on the power cord that came with the watch and an apple AC/USBc adapter. This must be an upgrade issue. I’ve had the watch for over two years and never had this problem until the 11.0 or 11.1 upgrade. Apple, I hope you’re on this!
The Apple Watch 7 came with the Fast-Charger to USB-C cable, but not with an Apple Power Adapter.
If your power adapter does not supply the needed ampere, the watch can not charge correctly.
How do I find out what amperage the adapter has and what is needed?
