Can't hear some participants when joining a FaceTime call from a browser on Windows

My spouse started a FaceTime call on his MacBook and sent a link to me and some friends. Our friends joined from an iPad, and I joined from a Chrome browser on a Windows PC. I could hear my spouse but I could not hear our friends. My spouse could hear our friends just fine, and everyone could hear me.

We tried on two separate occasions with the same result--I could hear my spouse but not our friends. Not sure how to resolve this--I'd like to be able to join FaceTime calls on my PC and hear all the participants!

Windows, Windows 10

Hi Runelord,

Thank you for participating in the Apple Support Communities. We understand some people can't be heard by others in Group FaceTime calls. It sounds like everyone in the group could be heard by at least one person so that rules out any microphone issues. We recommend making sure everyone in the group restarts their devices and is updated to the latest OS version for their device. You may also want to test another web browser on your PC to see if the issue persists. These steps can help isolate the source of the issue.

Beyond that, we recommend contacting Apple Support for further assistance. Contact Apple Support

Take care.
