People hear my internal sounds on FaceTime

I have an iPhone 15 and people can hear my videos and music when I am on Factime, but when the same people I am on Facetime with play their videos(also on their phones) I cannot hear them. We have tested this multiple times, and this never used to happen on my older models. Recently it has actually changed from bits and pieces to other people being able to hear full videos. How do I fix so they can’t hear me, I know for a fact this isn’t because I don’t wear headphones as this issue has never happened before.

You haven't specified where the background video or music is playing. I'm confident it's neither on Apple Music nor Apple TV.

FaceTime calls ensure complete privacy as they exclusively transmit external audio, safeguarding your device's internal audio from being shared with the other party. Only the external audio is audible to the person at the other end of the call.

The image below suggests that they either lack YouTube Premium or the service you subscribed to where external audio continues to play even when you are active on another app.

I have an iPhone 15 and people can hear my tik toks whenever we’re on ft even if I’m not screen sharing but somehow I can’t hear theirs. Is there anyway I can fix this to where they can’t hear my tik tok videos
