My timer does not go off.

I have an iphone 7 (iOS version is 16.1.2). I have found that for the past few months my timer doesn't go off when it is set to 5 minutes, which is the same time my auto-lock is set to. I tested timer and auto-lock both set to 1, 2, 3, and 4 minutes. When both are set to 1 min, the timer works, but it does not work when both are set to 2, 3, 4 and 5. I have restarted my phone, forced restart, updated iOS. I have no other timer apps. I looked through all of the other threads with questions about this issue and did what was advised, but still have the issue. Any other suggestions?
