mail priority setting

Hello,

I'm running Mac OS Ventura, and Mail by default sets every new Mail message I want to compose to "high priority" by default. This is annoying as I have to change the setting to "low priority" on every mail I want to send.

Any suggestions on how to set default priority setting to "low" ?

Best,

Vincent

Hello vincas,

Welcome to Apple Support Communities. Are you having this issue with a specific email account or multiple? Also, is this happening with an iCloud email account or a third-party email account like Yahoo, or Gmail? This will help us isolate this issue.

Hey vincas,

At this time there isn't a way to change the priority status for every email at one time, it would have to be manually changed from Normal when composing the email. If Priority settings isn't a feature you'd like to utilize you can disable it by clicking the Header button as previously describe, click a field, then remove the check mark next to priority.

If you'd like to provide this feedback to Apple you can do so via the Product Feedback website.

Take care.
