How to remove Recents tab/icon in iOS Files App
Is there a way to disable the Recents tab/icon in the IOS Files app? Or is there a way to delete the "recent" files from Recents without permanently deleting the files?

There would not be a way to remove the Recents tab from the Files app on your iPhone. This outlines all the available ways the Files app can be used: View and modify files and folders in Files on iPhone
