iPhone notifications not clicking properly

When clicking on the notification banner from the lock screen for some reason it doesn't work every time. This problem only occurs when am using display zoom to larger text option and sometimes in DND mode. How to fix this its so annoying to keep on clicking the notification just for it to work. I know it’s something which might not be explainable i have a video of what am facing but i can’t send it here for some reason.

You did a great job finding out the cause of the issue. Let's try a few things to see if it helps.

First, see if restarting your device can resolve the issue. Sometimes, restarting the device can help resolve unknown issues: Restart your iPhone

Also, make sure that your device is running the latest version: Update your iPhone or iPad
