Different time zone for start and end date in macOS Ventura Calendar

It used to be possible in Calendar to use different time zones for the start and end date of an event. For example, a flight taking off in time zone A and landing in time zone B could be entered exactly as it would be on a ticket, with the start and end times given in the respective local time zones. In the Month view, Calendar would then automatically show the times in the local time zone the Mac was set to, but when clicking on the event it would display it as it was entered, i.e. with the local times and info on what time zone (for example, for a flight from Melbourne to Hong Kong it would say something like "starts: 2:00pm (GMT+10), "ends: 9:20pm (GMT+8)").

Is there a way to enter events with start and end times specified in different time zones in macOS Ventura? Time zone support allows me to enter the event in a different time zone, but it seems that the start and end time always have to be specified in the same time zone, thus making it impossible to match my Calendar to flight itineraries and boarding passes.

I'm aware of time zone support, but it doesn't solve my problem as I've explained above.
