How to do I copy subject from one photo and paste it on another photo?

I want to copy subject from one photo and paste it on top of other photo.

It is not possible to cut a subject from one photo and paste it into another photo in the Photos app with iOS 16.


Once you copy the subject of a photo, you can share it through apps like Messages or Mail or use AirDrop. You can also copy and paste it in other apps like Notes.

Photo cutouts are available in iOS 16 and later on iPhone XS, iPhone XR, and later.


It is mentioned at the bottom of the resource you came from: Create and share photo cutouts on your iPhone - Apple Support


You could copy the subject and share it through apps like Messages, Mail, or the Notes apps.
